How do I make a monster?

Swipe the head, the body or the legs left or right. Each part moves on its own, so any head can meet any body and any legs. The whole monster takes on the skin colour of the part you swipe last, and every monster gets its own silly name, shown under the picture.

How do I change the background or add wings?

Tap the round button in the top right corner of the picture to switch between three colours or one colour, with dots or plain. Tap the button in the top left corner to try bat, feather, butterfly, bug and baby wings, or to take them off. The app remembers both choices.

Where are saved pictures?

On iPhone and iPad, Save adds the picture to Photos after permission is granted. If saving is denied, review the Photos permission of Monsters in iOS Settings. On supported Android devices, Save adds the picture to the Pictures/Lunamix Monsters collection. The app does not scan or read other pictures on the device.

How do I turn music on or off?

Tap the purple music-note button. Music starts off, plays three original tunes in turn and stops when the app goes into the background. Check device volume and silent-mode settings if necessary.

Does it work offline?

The game and music are bundled in the app. The app itself does not need an internet connection after installation. A sharing destination may need one.

Are there extra purchases?

No. One upfront purchase includes all 50 monsters. There are no ads, subscriptions, locked packs or in-app purchases.

Why does a question appear?

Save, Share and Parents ask a grown-up to answer a multiplication question.

Why does the phone stay upright?

The monsters are tall, so on phones the app stays in portrait to keep them large. On iPad and Android tablets you can rotate freely.
