How do I make a hero?
Swipe the head, the top or the bottom left or right. Each part moves on its own, so any mask, helmet or robot head can meet any suit and any stance. The whole costume takes on the colours of the part you swipe last.
How do I change the background or add a cape?
Tap the round button in the top right corner of the picture to switch between comic dots, a plain colour and a comic burst. Tap the button in the top left corner to put a cape on your hero or take it off. The app remembers both choices.
Where are saved pictures?
On iPhone and iPad, Save adds the picture to Photos after permission is granted. If saving is denied, review Heroes' Photos permission in iOS Settings. On supported Android devices, Save adds the picture to the Pictures/Lunamix Heroes collection. The app does not scan or read other pictures on the device.
How do I turn music on or off?
Tap the red music-note button. Music starts off, plays three original 8-bit style tracks in turn and stops when the app goes into the background. Check device volume and silent-mode settings if necessary.
Does it work offline?
The game and music are bundled in the app. The app itself does not need an internet connection after installation. A sharing destination may need one.
Are there extra purchases?
No. One upfront purchase includes all 50 heroes. There are no ads, subscriptions, locked packs or in-app purchases.
Why does a question appear?
Save, Share and Parents ask a grown-up to answer a multiplication question.
Why does the phone stay upright?
The heroes are tall, so on phones the app stays in portrait to keep them large. On iPad and Android tablets you can rotate freely.
