How do I make a character?

Swipe the head, top or bottom left or right. Each band moves independently. There are 50 choices in each band, giving 125,000 combinations. Exposed skin follows the selected head. The background changes after a completed swipe and the current combination is restored next time.

Where are saved pictures?

On iPhone or iPad, Save adds a PNG to Photos after add-only permission is granted. If saving is denied, check Girlie's Photos permission in Settings. On Android 10 and later, pictures go to Pictures/Girlie; older Android devices use a system document picker. Share opens the system share sheet, where a grown-up chooses the destination. Editable SVG export is also available in Parents.

How do I turn music on or off?

Tap the Music button. Music starts off and plays the bundled Life of Riley recording at reduced volume. It stops when the app goes into the background. Check device volume if you cannot hear it.

Does it work offline?

The game and music are included in the app. A receiving sharing app may require an internet connection.

Why does a question appear?

Parents, Save and Share require a grown-up to answer a multiplication question. The answer is not stored.

Can I rotate the screen?

Girlie supports portrait and landscape on phones and tablets.

How do I clear a saved combination?

Open Parents, answer the question and use the clear action. This resets app-local combinations and cached exports; it cannot delete pictures already saved outside the app.
